How I Spent My Friday Night: Young Professionals Sleep Out For The Homeless
Two months ago, a group of young professionals got together to raise money for Covenant House Homeless Shelter in Southeast DC. Our goal was to raise $30,000 before April 12th. Fast forward to today, we’ve surpassed our goal!! This past Friday night we all gathered in Southeast DC to finish out our mission and sleep outside just as hundreds and thousands of homeless youth do every single night. We wanted the youth to know that we are here for them, we care for them, and that they are not alone!
WPGC’s Annual Operation Pretty And Polished
It’s that time again DMV and we need your help! We’re collecting prom dresses, tuxedos and accessories right now at the WPGC Studios (4200 Parliament Place, Suite 300, Lanham MD 20706). All items collected will be distributed at our Operation Pretty and Polished on Saturday April 20th from 9am-3pm at The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington (4103 Benning Rd. NE)

Dresses For Dreams
Prom season is just around the corner and once again, we have partnered up with Family Matters of Greater Washington to collect gently used or new prom dresses and accessories for girls from low income families.
The event will take place on Friday March 29th from 6pm-9pm at Tabaq Bistro (1336 U St. NW)
Hosted by Me and Cynne Simpson of ABC 7 News.
Stop by and have a complimentary drinks with us, network, and do something amazing for young girls who wouldn’t otherwise have a chance to experience that magical event that is PROM. ♥♥♥

March is Women’s History Month and this year, Candice Nicole & The Womanly Curve Magazine have joined forces to present “Defining Your Womanly Curve”.
