On June 1, New Orleans Saints Jermon Bushrod (and a few of his NFL friends & teammates) will host his second annual “Visualize & Rise” Charity Golf Tournament in his hometown of King George VA. I’ve been trying to practice my golf swing for the past few weeks so I’ll definitely be there to support! Ha!
Not even going to lie, I’m nervous as hell! Tomorrow I’ll be a participant in a date auction, but it’s for charity so I’ll live! So please come out and support! It will be fun!

Join Prince George’s County Young Democrats (PGCYD), Fashion Empowering Women Foundation (FEW), Patrice Lancaster (The Resource Queen), and Sunni And The City (Radio Host WPGC 95.5) as we host a hygiene drive for United Communities Against Poverty Inc. (UCAP) .. home of Shepherd’s Cove Shelter for homeless women and children.
Couple of weeks ago I was asked by Tony Lewis Jr. to come and tour Safe Shores children’s advocacy center. Upon entering the building, I just knew that this place was special! Working with children is a hard job but working with children that are victims of sexual & domestic abuse… is just extraordinary on so many levels! After touring their closet of clothes that they use to give to these children, Tony and I immediately recognized the need and decided to help them out by putting together this fundraiser.
I wanted to take some time to share some of my favorite beauty products with my dolls. I’m not a big fan of high priced items, I truly believe that some of the best products are found right at your nearest drug store.
For example.. this Maybelline mascara! I’m completely in love with it and it’s under $10. I remember buying a $60 Dior mascara that couldn’t even compare to this one. I buy it in Blackest Black and apply 2 coats! Totally looks like I have false eyelashes.
Last Thursday night, me and my friends were invited to celebrate Dupont Circle hotspot One Lounge’s 2-year anniversary. And to get with the holiday spirit, the party also served as a toy drive, where the co-owners Niko Papademetriou and Seth McClelland raised around $3,000 and collected over 150 holiday gifts for the Washington Children’s Hospital. I’ve been in love with DC since the day that I moved here, but this holiday season and events like this is are making me fall in love with it even more! Great time!
I’ve heard so many great things about Kicks For Kids and I’m really looking forward to help out my friend Ian in any way possible, since this will be my first time attending!
